Have you ever had that “I know I’m meant to help others, but I don’t know where to start” feeling? Maybe you’ve always been the one people come to for advice. Or perhaps you’ve lived the ADHD experience yourself and now want to use that understanding to support others. If that’s you, welcome—you’re in the right place.
Becoming an ADHD Life Coach is more than just learning a skill. It’s about stepping into your purpose, finding your voice, and building the confidence to make an impact. At the iACTcenter, we don’t only teach ADHD coaching—we deeply immerse you in it. So, what’s it really like to train with us?
Let’s take a peek inside the experience.
It Starts with Curiosity (and a Zoom Room)
From the moment you join your first live class, you’ll notice something different. You’re not just logging into a webinar — you’re entering a lively, welcoming space full of people who understand ADHD.
Classes are live and virtual, allowing you to join and train to be an ADHD coach from anywhere in the world. The format is designed with ADHD brains in mind: engaging, interactive, structured, and bite-sized to help maintain focus. You’ll meet fellow students from diverse backgrounds—parents, teachers, therapists, entrepreneurs, and late-in-life career shifters—all united by a shared goal to support people with ADHD.
Don’t worry if you’re nervous. We’ve had students start their first session wondering, “Am I really coach material?” Within weeks, they’re asking insightful questions, acknowledging their peers’ experiences with ADHD, and connecting with the shared goal of making a difference, realizing, “Wow, I’m really doing this.”
You’ll Learn and Practice the Coaching Skills That Matter
You’ll learn about the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Core Competencies—the bones of effective coaching—and how to apply them confidently. But we don’t just focus on theory. We practice—a lot.
You’ll coach and be coached in breakout rooms, live demonstrations, peer coaching circles, triads, and through our coach referral network, and receive encouraging and constructive feedback during your 10 hours of coach mentoring from ICF-credentialed and ADHD-informed coaches.
These aren’t just tick-the-box practice sessions—they’re transformative moments where you grow, stretch, and realize what you’re capable of.
And because we know many of our students have ADHD themselves, our program is intentionally designed with your minds in mind. It offers flexibility but also holds you accountable. You’re supported every step of the way, with all aspects of the training recorded, so if you miss a class, a replay is available. Our check-ins and checklists help you stay on track.
You’ll Be Surrounded by a Like-Brained Community
One of the most powerful parts of the iACTcenter experience is our community. This isn’t the kind of place where you’re just a name on a roster. Our small class sizes invite you to be part of a group that celebrates your wins, normalizes your struggles, and walks alongside you on the journey.
Whether it’s breakout room high-fives, streamer emojis trailing down the screen when someone celebrates a “win,” or a heart emoji when another classmate has a “that’s just like me!” moment during live discussions, or spontaneous laughs when someone forgets why they unmuted (ADHD life, right?), you’ll feel seen. Students often tell us that training at iACTcenter doesn’t just help them become a coach—it helps them become more truly themselves.
You’ll Get Feedback from Certified Mentor Coaches
Mentor coaching is a key part of what makes iACTcenter unique. As you progress through your training, you’ll participate in both group and one-on-one mentor coaching sessions, where credentialed coaches provide you with direct feedback on your coaching skills.
These aren’t intimidating performance reviews. They’re supportive, empowering conversations that help you refine your skills, reflect on your growth, and prepare for ICF certification. And yes, mentor coaching hours count toward your official ICF application!
You’ll Learn How to Build a Coaching Business (Even If Business Isn’t Your Thing)
Many people feel confident about their reasons for coaching but feel completely overwhelmed by the how, especially when it comes to building their coaching business. While some of our students have their MBA, most have avoided owning their own business and discussing money or fees at all costs. That’s why our programs include business-building support—so you can graduate with more than just a certificate. You will finish with a clear structure for your business and understand how to transition from cringing at the sight of an Excel spreadsheet to recognizing the value of your time and services.
We help you:
-
Clarify your coaching niche. Coaching women newly diagnosed? Parents? Students? Families? We prepare you for wherever you are called.
-
Craft your marketing message in a high-value, heart-driven, non-salesy way.
-
Create your coaching packages and pricing structure.
-
Understand how to enroll clients and establish a sustainable practice.
You don’t need to be a marketer or business expert to achieve financial success as a coach. We show you how to take real, doable steps—without burning out or overcomplicating things.
You’ll Graduate with Confidence—and Credentials
Whether you’re pursuing your ICF ACC or PCC credential, your training at iACTcenter prepares you to reach your goal. Our CALC (Certified ADHD Life Coach) program is ICF Level 1 accredited, and our P-CALC and A-CALC pathways prepare you for Level 2 (PCC).
By the time you graduate, you’ll have:
