The iACTcenter Advanced-Certified ADHD Life Coach Training Program is designed for high achievers seeking to develop advanced professional coaching skills aligned with the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.
This accelerated one-year course includes a comprehensive ADHD Life Coaching curriculum and additional coach practice hours that run concurrently with courses focused on building a coaching business.
Upon completion, graduates will earn the dual distinction of iACTcenter Advanced-Certified ADHD Life Coach (A-CALC) and ICF PCC-level coach. You will be well on your way to completing your application to become ICF-trained PCC-level coaches with the International Coaching Federation.

All iACTCenter ADHD Life Coach training pathways follow a structured progression. They begin with a comprehensive, three-course curriculum featuring exclusive iACTCenter coach-training methods developed by a master’s-level Advanced Mental Health Practitioner who transitioned to ADHD Life Coaching more than 20 years ago.
1. The Foundations Course: Advanced Knowledge of ADHD for ADHD Life Coaches
Experience 8.5 weeks of in-depth learning in the 17 90-minute immersive classes of advanced ADHD education. Go beyond the basics to uncover the “why” underneath ADHD symptoms, behaviors, and emotions. Gain deeper insights into the numerous unique ways ADHD is experienced that will empower you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those you coach. 2. The Growth Course: Coaching Tools for Awareness and Change
The Growth Course equips emerging ADHD Life Coaches with the tools, techniques, and strategies to inspire self-awareness, foster personal growth, and help clients achieve meaningful progress. Over 11 weeks and 22 classes, you’ll create a resource-packed personal ADHD Life Coaching Toolkit that you can immediately use to support clients toward their goals. Through experiential learning, you’ll gain firsthand insight and empathy into the impact of these coaching tools and build the confidence needed to support clients in making lasting changes. 3. The CORE Course: Essential Coaching Skills for the ADHD Life Coach
This 10-week, 20-class course combines coaching theory, ADHD science, practice, and application to prepare you for graduation and achieve the elite status of a Certified ADHD Life Coach (CALC) and an ICF-certified coach. Throughout this course, you will develop essential coaching skills and competencies, build confidence in coaching clients, finalize important aspects of your coaching business, and receive expert mentorship along with personalized feedback from 100% ICF-credentialed faculty. The program is designed to equip you with the skills, ethics, and mindset necessary for a professional coach, ensuring you are prepared to create meaningful change for clients with ADHD and other neurodiverse brain styles. 6 Hours of Enhanced Small Group Mentor Coaching Included with Your Tuition
Deepen your coaching skills through 6 hours of small group mentor coaching led by an iACTcenter-approved ICF Mentor Coach Specialist. These highly interactive sessions help you strengthen your coaching, integrate the ICF Core Competencies, learn alongside your peers, and prepare for credentialing with greater clarity and confidence.
As part of the program, you will also contract directly with an iACTcenter-approved ICF Mentor Coach Specialist for four one-on-one mentor coaching sessions. This allows you to select the mentor who best fits your learning goals, coaching style, language, availability, and budget. Each Mentor Coach Specialist operates an independent professional practice and establishes their own fees—typical investment: USD $1,300–$1,600.
The Graduation Accountability Program (GAP)
Join the 90-minute monthly gatherings with fellow iACTcenter students and staff during the final phase of your training. These sessions provide the support you want and the accountability you need to reach your graduation goal and earn your certification. Answers to Your Frequently Asked Questions About the Advanced-Certified ADHD Life Coach Training Program
Can I just take part of the program?
NO. This program is designed for those wanting to get the most they can about the skills and strategies of an ADHD Life Coach. It’s not ala carte because we want you to have it all!
Do I need to take the whole program?
Yes. Completing the whole program will be required to graduate with the training hours, mentoring, and advanced knowledge of a Professional-Certified ADHD Life Coach from the iACTCenter.
Is there a way to fast-track through the program?
Unfortunately, no. This program is designed to provide long-lasting learning and skill development of a PCC coach with the skills and knowledge to coach neurodiverse clients. This cannot be achieved in less time.
My previous training taught me about the Coaching Core Competencies. Do I need to take that portion of the training?
Yes, you will need to complete the entire program. The A-CALC program is a comprehensive coach training program that builds on your previous learning and prepares you to demonstrate the advanced skills of a PCC coach upon graduation.
What if I haven’t accrued the minimum of 100 coach-client practice hours the required to graduate in one from the A-CALC program?
If this is the case, you have a couple of options. One is to apply for a brief extension to your training so you can complete all the requirements in the one-year time frame. Another is to downgrade to and apply to graduate from the Certified ADHD Life Coach (CALC) training program, which has a lower number of required coach practice hours required for graduation. In this case, to graduate, you would need to meet all the graduation requirements of the CALC program, including demonstrating coaching at the ICF Associate Coach Certification (ACC) level.
How long is the program?
You have one year from the start of your training to complete and submit all the graduation requirements.
Will I gain resources for coaching persons with ADHD?
Absolutely! At the iACTcenter, we believe in paying it forward with the mission of decreasing the stigma, increasing awareness, and empowering people with ADHD! We also don’t believe in re-creating the wheel and are eager to share our resources with our students, who can use these tools, templates, workbooks, strategies, etc., with their coaching clients.
Does the A-CALC program include any business training or courses?
Yes! One of the many benefits of the Advanced-Certified ADHD Life Coach Training Program is the extra hours of business courses and training so that you not only graduate with the skills of an advanced Professional Certified Coach (PCC), but also the foundation of a sustainable coaching business. Does the iACTcenter provide coaching clients during my training?
We understand that securing clients for coaching and reaching the required number of practice hours for graduation can be challenging. Gaining the confidence to create personal visibility to attract potential clients, as well as developing the skills to enroll new coaching clients, takes time.
That’s why part of our business training focuses specifically on teaching you the valuable skill of client enrollment using our proprietary iACTcenter method. This proven step-by-step process will empower you to maintain a thriving coaching business for years to come.
In addition to client enrollment training, our program offers several opportunities for you to practice coaching and accumulate coach-client hours, whether they are paid, bartered, or pro bono, while benefiting from our extensive coaching network.
During your training, you can gain experience and accrue coaching hours in several ways. First, you can practice with fellow students outside of class, either one-on-one or by organizing independent “Coaching Circles.” While these sessions are not intended to provide the majority of your practice hours, students in our advanced programs have the privilege of participating in our “Coach Referral Network,” where community members actively seek to work with our coaching trainees. Additionally, one of our most popular programs connects advanced students with those in our basic training programs, creating a win-win-win situation for everyone involved!
